Lush Longboards Throttle Short Longboard
The Throttle is one very rad little package form Lush Longboards
If you are looking for a mini cruiser that isn't so mini or a longboard that isn't that so long then the Throttle could be the one for you.
It's big enough to see you down some decent sized hill and cruise about in style while still being small and light enough to be convenient to carry about.
All in all a very fun deck with lots of scope for all shapes , sizes and type of skater.
The Throttle is built up in three spec options:
Lush Longboards Throttle Short Longboard: Precision Complete Spec
The Precision Complete is about as smooth, plush and carvy as a longboard can get, built up with Sabre Forged Precision Mk3 Trucks. These trucks give outstanding board feel, and give the Throttle unmatched stability and agility - not to mentioned strength and good looks. A higher spec or better feeling complete you will not find anywhere! Take it to the hills, take it through town, rip the pumptrack to shreds. The Elite Throttle is your go-to for an all-round longboard that you can take to the hills for a carve, a slide and maybe more, but is equally comfortable to get you through the city. Lush Longboards Throttle Short Longboard: Pro Complete Spec
The Throttle Pro comes with TKP Sabre Trucks and smaller nippy wheels. I like to think of this one as the lower speed option - TKPs will feel more agile and surfy when you're cruising along on the flat. This setup really fits the bill for urban commutes that aren't too hilly, you can whip it round corners, up and down curbs and generally play around whilst still being more stable than a smaller cruiser.- Wheels: Lush Smoothie 62mm Longboard Wheels

Is the Elite setup worth the extra £40?
For only an extra £40, you can upgrade the "Pro" setup to the "Elite" Level build.
The Elite setup is a pretty heavy wheel and bearing upgrade over the Pro.
You get Lush Longboards Easy Rider Bearings - fully shielded, easy to clean, with built in bearing spacers. They roll faster and last longer than the Pro level metal shielded ABEC5 bearings.
The Elite complete also includes Cult Invader 66mm Longboard Wheels White, poured from a higher grade urethane. Premium urethane rolls fater, lasts longer, and generally injects a whole new level of life into the board - once you've skated decent wheels, you won't want anything else!
The trucks are a huge part of any longboard or cruiser setup - and extra spend on the Elite takes you to a pair of Sabre Standard Longboard Trucks.
These trucks make a HUGE difference to how your board will skate - you'll be able to turn harder and carve deeper, whilst being more stable. That's the magic of a proper longboard truck!
Less obvious is the wheel upgrade. Your extra £40 gets you a set of Cult Invader over the Pro build's Lush Smoothie. Apart from the obvious size difference, the Cult Invader are poured from a higher grade of urethane - an invisible difference that you will immediately notice as soon as you push the board off.
Just like the bearings, the wheel upgrade makes your board roll faster and last longer - what's not to like??
If you look at the SRP difference of these components and add them together you'll see that the upgrade from Pro to Elite represents serious value - trust us, it's well worth it.
Coupled with this, we've noticed that almost everyone who makes it into our shop ends up with an Elite setup - the value is clear once you have the board in your hands!
How about the Precision build?
If you're ready to skate the best setup out there the best of the best, step it up to the Precison Build!
For an extra £90, you get the same wheels and bearings as the Elite build, but with a set of Sabre Trucks Forged Precisions.
Given that a set of these trucks would normally set you back £180, that's a serious value for a serious setup!
